TonT discussed the Hartford Line train and how it will affect New Haven and the surrounding cities. Speakers also covered how other forms of public transportation will connect to the train line. Kim Dunham (Executive Director of the Greater New Haven Transit District) moderated a panel with the following speakers: Richard Andreski (Bureau Chief of Public Transportation at CTDOT), Cole Pouliot (General Manager at CTtransit), Mike Freda (First Selectman of North Haven), and Sri Muthu (Elm City Innovation Collaborative). December 4, 2017 6:00 PM at BAR, New Haven

TonT discussed the role of citizen participation in creating a more sustainable transportation system. Speakers included Representative Josh Elliott from Hamden, Douglas Hausladen (Director of Transportation, Traffic, and Parking for the City of New Haven), Dave McCluskey (former representative from Hartford), and Cheri Quickmire (Executive Director of Common Cause Connecticut). This TonT also included breakout discussion groups on three topics: improving bike infrastructure, red light cameras, and pedestrian crosswalk laws. TonT discussed sustainable transportation and jobs access.  Panelists included Dilias Ratchford, Community Representative Steve Fontana, Deputy Economic Development Director for the City of New Haven
Keith Lawrence, Director of Special Projects for the City of New Haven Erik Johnson, Senior Director, Strategy Policy and Innovation for the New Haven Housing Authority.
